Plays a key role in teaching UG / PG students, guiding their learning, engaging in research, and supporting the daily academic activities of the department.

Job Summary

Provides academic leadership by teaching advanced courses, mentoring students and faculty, guiding research, and contributing to departmental growth.

Teaching Responsibilities

• Teach specialised and advanced courses at UG / PG levels.
• Mentor students and support junior faculty members.
• Contribute to curriculum revision and enhancement.
• Integrate ICT and OBE-based pedagogy into the teaching process.

Research Responsibilities

• Conduct independent and high-quality research.
• Publish regularly in Scopus / SCI-indexed journals.
• Guide PG and PhD students in their research work.
• Apply for and manage externally funded research projects.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Serve on major institutional committees and task forces.
• Take on leadership roles in academic and administrative activities.
• Actively support accreditation, audit, and compliance activities.

Industry & Community Engagement

• Develop meaningful connections with industry partners.
• Organise value-added programs, training sessions, and expert talks.

Qualification Requirements

• PhD in the relevant field
• Minimum 8 years of teaching or research experience
• Strong academic publication record.

Skills & Competencies

Leadership qualities, strong research credentials, ability to mentor, and proficiency in modern teaching tools.
