Job descriptionCA (ICAI) qualified with 3.5 years of statutory audit experience. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce / Finance. Experience in statutory audit within a public accounting or consulting firm preferred. Ability to manage multiple audits and client engagements simultaneously. Strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills. Solid understanding of audit methodologies and data analysis techniques. Strong problem-solving and research skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Client-focused mindset with the ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee pre-audit planning and fieldwork, including reviewing client accounting and operating procedures.
- Perform audit testing and planning to support the audit opinion—prepare work papers for complex areas, conduct internal control and substantive testing, and perform analytical reviews.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation in compliance with auditing standards.
- Research and resolve technical accounting and auditing issues encountered during engagements.
- Draft audit reports for managerial review.
- Assist Managers / Partners in conducting risk assessments and developing audit programs.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and participate in networking activities.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the implementation of best practices.
