1. Production Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and oversee the entire manufacturing process for stainless steel cookware and pressure cookers.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet dispatch and sales targets.
- Coordinate with the purchase, stores, and dispatch teams to ensure material availability and production continuity.
- Optimize utilization of manpower, machines, and materials for maximum productivity.
2. Process & Operations Management
Supervise all production stages from deep drawing, spinning, buffing, polishing, pressing, welding, and assembly to final packaging.Ensure adherence to SOPs, process parameters, and quality standards.Identify and eliminate bottlenecks to improve cycle time and production efficiency.Implement lean manufacturing practices, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.3. Quality & Compliance
Ensure that every product meets the company's quality benchmarks and complies with BIS / ISI / safety standards.Work closely with the Quality Control team to address process defects, rejections, and rework.Maintain proper records of inspections, testing, and quality assurance.4. Team Management & Coordination
Supervise and train shop-floor supervisors, operators, and technicians to ensure productivity and safety.Foster a culture of teamwork, discipline, and accountability.Coordinate with Maintenance and Tool Room teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines.5. Cost Control & Efficiency Improvement
Monitor production costs, wastage, and energy consumption, and implement cost-saving measures.Evaluate machine utilization and recommend equipment upgrades or replacements when required.6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain production records, job cards, and efficiency reports.Prepare daily production MIS reports and submit to management.Ensure compliance with company and statutory safety norms.
