Job Title : Backend Web Developer – WordPress / Headless CMS / Laravel

Location : NOIDA

Employment Type : Full-time

About the Role

Logi5 is looking for a versatile Backend Web Developer to lead the backend development of multiple upcoming websites — including marketing sites, campaign microsites, affiliate pages, and content platforms.

While many of our sites currently run on custom WordPress CMS with PHP , we’re open to modern frameworks such as Next.js with headless CMS (Strapi, Sanity, or even WordPress headless) , Laravel , or Node.js / Express — especially if they help accelerate development and improve long-term scalability.

You’ll work closely with our in-house designer to convert creative assets into fully functional, responsive, and high-performance websites — and we expect you to leverage AI tools (like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, CodeWP, etc.) to boost speed and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and maintain backend systems for multiple websites using the most suitable stack (WordPress, Laravel, or headless CMS architecture)
  • Customize CMS functionality, build APIs, and manage backend logic
  • Optimize websites for speed, security, Core Web Vitals, and SEO performance
  • Build and connect dynamic modules (e.g., forms, calculators, affiliate tracking, landing page engines)
  • Use AI tools to generate code, automate routine tasks, and streamline development workflows
  • Deploy sites on staging and production servers, and manage hosting environments (cPanel, Cloudways, VPS, etc.)
  • Ensure clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure seamless handoff and execution

Preferred Tech Stack Exposure

  • Primary : PHP, WordPress (custom theme / plugin dev), MySQL
  • Preferred Modern Alternatives :
  • Next.js with headless CMS (e.g., Strapi, Sanity, Headless WP)
  • Laravel (for structured PHP-based apps beyond WordPress)
  • Node.js / Express (for lightweight custom APIs or backend logic)

    • Requirements

  • 3–5 years of backend development experience across one or more of the above stacks
  • Strong experience building CMS-powered websites, campaign microsites, and backend systems
  • Solid grasp of REST APIs, database design, caching, and version control (Git)
  • Comfortable working solo on backend from start to finish (design handoff to deployment)
  • Familiarity with SEO-focused development and tracking implementation (UTMs, meta tags, GA, etc.)
  • Open to using AI tools for accelerating development — not just traditional methods
  • Strong debugging skills and ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience setting up CI / CD pipelines, Docker environments, or JAMstack sites
  • Understanding of tracking and monetization integration (e.g., affiliate scripts, tracking pixels)
  • Experience with serverless functions or cloud-hosted databases (e.g., Firebase, Supabase)
  • Exposure to affiliate marketing platforms, content publishers, or adtech microsites
