QA Automation Engineer - PyTest

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop robust API automation test scripts using Python and Pytest.
• Test and validate both RESTful and SOAP APIs for performance, reliability, and correctness.
• Utilize tools like Postman for manual and automated testing during development cycles.
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, and product managers to define test strategies and integrate testing into the CI / CD process.
• Work with Git-based repositories (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket) to manage test code versioning and pull requests.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated test pipelines within a CI / CD framework.
• Investigate test failures and log defects with detailed root cause Qualifications :
• 2- 3 years of experience in API automation testing using Python and Pytest.
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP API protocols.
• Experience using Postman for API testing (manual and automated).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
• Exposure to CI / CD pipelines and continuous testing principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, on-site development environment
