Accountant - Finance & Compliance

Job Overview : We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Zoho accounting software and a strong understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, GST, PF, and TDS filing.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accurate recording of all transactions.
• Manage and track accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain customer ledgers.
• Prepare and file GST returns, PF, and TDS within statutory timelines.
• Maintain compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
• Prepare and review financial statements and assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Generate and analyze financial and management reports to support business decisions.
• Record and verify accounting entries in Zoho Books, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and clarifications.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify variances and improve financial efficiency.
