Key Responsibilities :
Maintenance & Repair
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on escalators and elevators as per schedules.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults and perform corrective repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer standards during service.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support
Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns.Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues effectively.Collaborate with technical teams and escalate complex problems as needed.Customer Service
Interact professionally with clients during service visits, explaining issues and solutions clearly.Maintain service logs, report findings, and recommend upgrades or replacements.Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely and quality service.Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts used, and time spent.Prepare and submit service reports and inspection checklists.Assist in inventory management of spare parts and tools.Qualifications :
Diploma or degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related fieldCertifications in elevator / escalator technology or safety standards are a plusExperience :
2–6 years of hands-on experience in escalator / elevator installation, maintenance, or repairFamiliarity with safety standards like ASME A17.1 or local elevator codesKey Skills :
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and manualsGood communication and customer handling skillsWillingness to work in shifts and travel to client sitesBasic computer skills for reporting and inventory managementSkills Required
