We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant (EWM) to provide L2 / L3 support and development for SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) applications. The role involves working on enhancements, integrations, RF screens, and performance optimization in an SAP EWM environment.

Experience Required : 7+ Years (including minimum 3+ years in SAP EWM)

Location : Chennai (Hybrid)

Notice Period : Immediate joiners preferred

Job Description

Provide L2 / L3 support for SAP ABAP developments within the SAP EWM module.

Analyze, debug, and resolve issues across custom reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, and RF screens.

Develop and maintain IDocs, BAPIs, BADIs, Enhancements, User Exits, and Proxy Interfaces for EWM processes.

Support warehouse operations through RF development and UI5-based RF screens.

Work closely with the functional EWM team to resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests.

Optimize existing custom ABAP objects for better system performance.

Troubleshoot integration issues between EWM and ERP / S4 systems (IDocs, qRFCs, BAPIs).

Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and development objects.

Support multiple test cycles (UT, SIT, UAT) and production deployment activities.

Ensure adherence to coding standards, transport management, and change control processes.

Key Responsibilities

ABAP development and support in SAP EWM landscape

Incident and change request handling (L2 / L3 support)

RICEF object development (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms)

IDoc monitoring, debugging, and error resolution

RF / UI5 screen enhancement and support

SAP EWM & ERP / S4 integration troubleshooting

Performance tuning of ABAP programs

Documentation and test support

Qualification & Certification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent

SAP ABAP certification preferred (not mandatory)

Hands-on experience with SAP EWM business processes (Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Movements)
