Location : Bangalore, India

Position Overview : -

The Engineering Leader will be responsible for driving innovation, strategy, and execution within the Industrial Automation accounts. The individual will lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver cutting-edge automation solutions, foster technology adoption across industries and enhance overall performance. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in industrial automation, robotics, IIOT, and digital transformation.

Your Role

Leadership & Strategy : Lead the development and deployment of advanced industrial automation solutions, including robotics, PLCs, SCADA, MES, and IIoT platforms such that it aligns with customer goals.

Client Engagement : Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their requirements, addressing their challenges, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customized digital solutions.

Project Oversight : Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of engagements, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Apply project management methodologies and best practices to achieve project objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration : Engage with key stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and technology partners, to gather requirements, address challenges, and ensure successful deployment of digital solutions.

Leadership : Proven leadership and team management capabilities, with experience in fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Innovation : Stay updated on emerging technologies and assess their applicability for the industry. Promote adoption of AI / ML, cloud, and edge technologies for predictive maintenance and smart manufacturing.

Training & Support : Ensure that training programs developed for the team covers both tactical and strategic (long term) goals aligned with each account, and hence ensure effective utilization of digital tools.

Your Profile

Education : - Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or related fields). Advanced degrees or certifications in digital transformation or project management are plus.

Experience : - Minimum of 15+ years of experience in industrial automation, IIOT or related fields. Proven expertise in designing and implementing automation systems in manufacturing or process industries.

Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of industrial automation tools and technologies (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, ABB, Schneider). Knowledge of IIOT platforms (e.g., Azure IoT, AWS IoT, PTC Thing Worx).

Project Management : Strong project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams and applying methodologies such as Agile or Safe or managed services model of delivery for support projects.

Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a demonstrated ability to use data to drive strategic decisions and process improvements.

Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.

Travel : Willingness to travel to customer locations, including local and other cities within India, as required.
