Finance Controller

ROLE PURPOSE

Manage the overall controlling (Accounting, reporting of AR, AP, overheads and Taxes) of the company and maintain company s overall financial reporting systems.

ROLE SPECIFICATIONS

Ensure financial statements and books comply with Financial Reporting Standards

Custodian of accounting policies and procedures

Responsible for quarterly and annual statutory reporting and audit.

Balance sheet and general ledger hygiene, ownership of reconciliation process and procedures

Accounting for and preservation of current assets : cash, AR and advances and etc,

Ownership of accounting procedures and policies

Monitoring entity controls and compliance

Exercise oversight in management of working capitals

Tax Management and compliance

Insurance Management

Month end and year-end close activities

Responsibility for accounts payables

Responsibility for accounts receivables and credit control

Evaluating and managing risks

Develop mechanism to ensure filing of all relevant statutory returns

Ensure all applicable legislation are embedded in the Company s reporting processes

Comfortable with budgeting and forecasting

Peer review and benchmarking analysis

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS

Qualification

The ideal candidate would have a Masters / Bachelor s degree in Finance / Accounting or related field

Candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant ( ICAN / ACCA / CPA US)

Experience

10+ years of experience

Past experience in Factory finance / Chief accountant roles would be preferred

Experience in FMCG / Pharma / Manufacturing will be preferred

Expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint
