šŸš€ Weā€™re Hiring : Analog Layout Engineer | ACL Digital

Location : [Specify Location ā€“ Bangalore]

Experience : 6ā€“10 years

Notice period - 15 days

Industry : Semiconductor / Analog & Mixed-Signal Design

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare multi-dimensional layouts and detailed drawings of semiconductor devices from schematics and related geometry provided by design engineers.
  • Perform layout design of owned blocks using Cadence Virtuoso XL .
  • Conduct block- and top-level layout verification using Mentor Calibre .
  • Extensive experience in PAD Ring and Top / Chip-level layout design.
  • Collaborate closely with Analog, Mixed-Signal, and Digital design teams for optimal layout design.
  • Handle block-level floorplanning , IC top-level floorplanning , and area estimation .
  • Generate post-layout extractions and assist in simulation sign-off.
  • Prepare documentation and conduct layout reviews.
  • Work with the packaging team to ensure bonding diagrams comply with assembly and packaging rules.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelorā€™s or Masterā€™s degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6ā€“10 years of relevant experience in Analog / Mixed-Signal IC layout design .

    • Key Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of package / substrate design and assembly rules (Flip Chip, BGA, LFCSP).
  • Proven experience with IO Pads, ESD Clamps , and Analog / Mixed-Signal IP layout .
  • Hands-on with process nodes like 180nm, 40nm, and 22nm (GlobalFoundries) .
  • Excellent teamwork across multi-disciplinary and global environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of Skill / Perl / Tcl scripting is a plus
