US Payroll Specialist – Remote (India)

Accura FMS Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced US Payroll Specialist with strong HR expertise to join our growing team. This is a hybrid role that combines payroll processing, compliance management, and HR operations. You’ll manage payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states, ensure full compliance with U.S. labor laws, and help shape internal HR policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end semi-monthly payroll processing for 500+ employees using Paychex or ADP.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including garnishments and deductions.
  • Maintain accurate HR and payroll records with strict attention to confidentiality and compliance.
  • Draft and implement HR policies and ensure ongoing adherence to employment and labor laws.
  • Coordinate post-payroll reconciliation, reporting, and audits in collaboration with the Finance team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience running payroll for U.S. clients or employees (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of U.S. payroll laws, tax compliance, and employment regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Paychex or ADP.
  • Experience handling garnishments, wage orders, and benefits coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
