Job Title : Senior Academic Coordinator

Location : Gurgaon

Working Hours : 8 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm

Role Overview

The Academic Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of online academic programs to ensure high-quality education delivery. This role involves coordinating curriculum development, guiding online instructors, managing assessments, and fostering a collaborative online learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Planning & Curriculum Oversight

  • Develop and manage academic calendars and schedules for online classes.
  • Conduct timetable reviews to optimize instructional time and avoid conflicts.
  • Ensure curriculum alignment with national education standards and Cyboard's philosophy.
  • Revamp lesson plans and weekly planning to improve clarity and engagement.
  • Promote cross-curricular and experiential learning in digital formats.
  • Review Books for the upcoming academic session.

Faculty Support & Development

  • Conduct online teacher training workshops on digital pedagogy and classroom management.
  • Observe virtual classes and provide feedback for instructional improvement.
  • Guide teachers in notebook assessment protocols and parent-student feedback practices.
  • Mentor teachers to meet appraisal goals and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Assessment & Student Progress

  • Oversee the design and review of formative and summative assessments.
  • Conduct assessment plan reviews to ensure alignment with learning objectives.
  • Analyze student performance data and coordinate personalized learning interventions.
  • Operational Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and academic reports.
  • Coordinate online events, examinations, and interdepartmental activities.
  • Arrange teacher substitutions promptly and monitor substitute performance.
  • Communicate expectations and lesson plans to substitute educators.
  • Parent-Student Support & Engagement

  • Provide academic guidance and support to students in a virtual setting.
  • Facilitate access to tutoring, enrichment, and career guidance resources.
  • Monitor student participation and collaborate with counselors and parents.
  • Faculty & Staff Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between faculty, administration, and support staff.
  • Ensure smooth communication for curriculum updates and policy implementation.
  • Monitor faculty compliance with digital teaching protocols.
  • Program Evaluation & Improvement

  • Evaluate academic programs and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Review teaching strategies and student feedback for continuous enhancement.
  • Suggest innovations in EdTech tools and digital pedagogy.
  • Compliance & Accreditation

  • Prepare documentation for reviews and inspections.
  • Stay updated with educational regulations and integrate changes into practice.
  • Workshop Organisation and Backend Coordination

  • Organises the resource person for conducting parent, Student,Teacher Workshop.
  • Maintain documentation of interview outcomes, onboarding plans, and meeting minutes.
  • Facilitate onboarding and training of new teachers in Cyboard's digital systems and protocols.
  • NIOS Registration

    Support parents and teachers with respect to the NIOS registration process, ensuring clarity, timely assistance, and a seamless experience from inquiry to enrolment.

  • Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Education or a related field (B.Ed. / M.Ed. preferred).
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in an administrative or leadership role in an online educational setting.
  • Familiarity with the curriculum and standards of CBSE / ICSE / State Board.
