About the role ShramIN Jobs is building a platform to connect vocational and blue / grey-collar talent to employers at scale. We’re hiring a Sales Manager to grow platform revenue — advertising, premium listings, enterprise employer accounts, API / ATS integrations and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate has direct experience selling job portals or marketplace / B2B platforms (examples : Apna, Naukri, WorkIndia, Indeed, IndiaMART) and understands monetization levers for online talent products.
Key responsibilities
- Own new business acquisition and growth for ShramIN Jobs across enterprise and SMB segments (direct employers, staffing firms, educational partners, channel partners).
- Sell the full product suite : job-posting credits, featured listings, employer branding packages, resume database access, API / ATS integrations, recruitment solutions and bespoke enterprise deals.
- Develop territory and account plans; identify target verticals (manufacturing, services, retail, BPO, construction) and drive pipeline generation.
- Respond to RFPs, prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts and close deals end-to-end.
- Manage and grow strategic accounts — ensure adoption, deliver ROI reports, drive renewals and upsells.
- Work with product and operations teams to translate client feedback into product improvements, pricing strategies and packaging.
- Develop channel partnerships (training institutes, placement agencies, staffing partners) to increase supply and demand on the platform.
- Maintain CRM discipline; produce accurate forecasts, weekly activity reports and monthly revenue reviews.
- Represent ShramIN at industry events, conferences and employer forums to build brand and partnerships.
- Mentor junior sales staff and contribute to building repeatable sales playbooks and pricing models.
Must-have experience & skills
6–8 years of B2B sales experience selling digital platforms or marketplaces — direct experience selling job portals (Apna, Naukri, WorkIndia, Indeed, etc.) OR marketplace / B2B platforms (IndiaMART, JD / Alibaba-type, Classifieds) is mandatory.Proven track record of closing enterprise deals and meeting revenue targets.Strong understanding of recruitment products (job ads, resume database, employer branding) and SaaS / transactional monetization models.Excellent negotiation, presentation and consultative-selling skills.Comfortable creating commercial proposals, SLA-based pricing, and modelling deal economics.CRM proficiency (Salesforce / Zoho / Pipedrive) and good Excel skills for forecasting and revenue modelling.Good communication in English & Hindi; confident with client-facing demos and workshops.Comfortable with frequent travel to client sites and industry clusters.Desired / Advantageous
MBA (preferred) or equivalent business qualification.Prior experience working with staffing firms, RPOs, or HR tech products.Experience with API / ATS integrations, technical pre-sales or POC management.Exposure to performance marketing / ad-ops metrics for ad products (CTR, CPC, conversion metrics).Network of hiring decision-makers across manufacturing and large enterprise accounts.Working conditions & travel
