Job Description
Technical Leadership :
o Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, security model, configuration, and customization.
o Expertise in Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, and Service & Experience Cloud.
o Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
o Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems and applications (e.g., Product, ERP, CRM, marketing automation).
o Understanding of integration solutions using APIs, middleware, and other integration technologies.
o Lead Salesforce-related activities during M&A processes, including due diligence, data migration, system integration, and user training.
o Develop strategies for integrating Salesforce systems and data to create a unified platform.
Stakeholder Management :
o Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including business users, IT leaders, and executives.
o Proactively identify and address potential issues and risks.
o Create a roadmap for Salesforce adoption and modernization.
o Manage relationships with Salesforce and other relevant vendors (like AppExchange packages etc.)
Team Leadership :
o Develop and execute a long-term Salesforce strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
o Recruit, hire, and develop a talented team of Salesforce professionals.
o Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
o Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
o Negotiate contracts and licensing agreements.
DevOps and Release Management :
o Oversee the entire Salesforce development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
o Implement robust DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI / CD).
o Manage code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth releases and minimize downtime.
What You Need For This Position :
Skills & Experience :
Salesforce Proficiency :
o Expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
o Deep understanding of the Salesforce Security Model.
Salesforce DevOps :
o Experience with release management and sandbox management in Salesforce.
Team Management :
o Proven ability to manage a mix of full-time employees (FTE) and contractors effectively.
Technical Experience :
o Extensive experience (17+ years) in the Salesforce ecosystem.
o History of managing development and engineering teams.
o Experience running multiple Salesforce orgs’ lifecycles across 1 or more past job experiences.
o Experience with customer-facing Experience Cloud websites.
o Experience managing the lifecycle of applications outside of Salesforce.
