Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities : Design, architect, administer, and manage large database systems, particularly on Microsoft platforms such as SQL Server and Azure Database.Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.Implement new databases, data warehouses, data pipelines, and ETL processes for various systems. Specifically Azure Data Factory.Develop and maintain data structures to support business needs.Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand data requirements and provide solutions.Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization of database systems.Create and maintain documentation for database architecture, data flows, and processes.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering.Provide strategic planning for the implementation of new systems and enhancements.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly.Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data solutions aligning with business objectives and technology roadmap.Qualifications : Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on implementing data structures and administering large databases.Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure Database.Strong expertise in database design, architecture, administration, and management.Hands-on experience in implementing data warehouses, data pipelines, and ETL processes.Background in the retail industry is highly preferred.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.Experience in strategic planning and project management.About VRIZE INCVRIZE is a Global Digital & Data Engineering company, committed to delivering end-to-end Digital solutions and services to its customers worldwide.
