Role Summary :
- The Supplier Risk Specialist is responsible for identifying, and interpreting risks across the supplier base. Working with stakeholders at all levels across EQ demonstrating best practice risk management in line with SRM Policy and Handbook to mitigate and minimise risk exposure.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering best practice operational processes and practices by utilising technology and following EQ policies and procedures. The jobholder will seek continuous improvement in all activities performed, working under the instruction and closely with the Senior Supplier Relationship & Risk Managers.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills are essential, working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop / recommend solutions, mitigation plans and track corrective actions, appropriately challenging where necessary to ensure compliance to policy.
- The jobholder will ensure they deliver against targets, efficiency measures, values and agreed timescales. Furthermore, the jobholder will ensure improved utilisation of Third Party Management tools.
- Support the delivery of SRM KPIs, values and improve utilisation of procurement tools with the team.
- Develop strong working relationships with all members of the Procurement and Risk Teams to deliver best outcomes.

Core Ensuring suppliers are risk tiered and due diligence completed for all high risk suppliers prior to being on-boarded or completing renewal activities in line with SRM Policy and Handbook.
Support the development of tools and frameworks to continually monitor supplier risk throughout the Supplier life-cycle.Support EQ to meet supplier legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. FCA, PRA & DFS outsourcing requirements)Continuously identify areas for improvement and help to guide EQ through transformation of their supplier management approach Be a Key Stakeholder within the procurement team providing input to category and relationship management strategiesMonitor and report specific Third Party Risk Management Team benefits at an individual supplier level and at an aggregated Team / Department level including the delivery of MI on key metrics and use the data to drive continuous improvementSkills, Capabilities and Attributes :
