Job descriptionBuild and run Rusk's compliance framework across anti-bribery, code of conduct, conflict-of-interest, and integrity programs. Serve as the point of contact with government agencies, regulators, and law enforcement. Manage user grievances, content moderation issues, and data / privacy compliance. Conduct periodic risk assessments and report findings to leadership. Stay ahead of emerging regulations in media, tech, data protection, and entertainment law. Manage disputes, litigation, and arbitration through external counsel. Anticipate and mitigate risks across Rusk's operations (content, live events, global subsidiaries). Handle day-to-day contract execution (production agreements, IP licenses, talent contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements). Partner with internal teams (Content, Finance, HR, Policy, Comms, Trust & Safety) to embed compliance into workflows. Provide legal training and guidance to business teams to ensure ongoing Law degree (LLB / LLM / JD) from a recognized institution. 6 - 8 years of post-qualification experience with a mix of corporate, media / tech, and compliance law. Deep knowledge of Indian corporate law, IT Act, Intermediary Guidelines, FDI, IP, and content regulation. Experience handling contracts, compliance filings, and board-level advisory. Indian national.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Legal & Corporate Governance :
- Act as the Chief Compliance Officer for Rusk Media under India's IT Act 2000, Intermediary Guidelines 2021, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Advise founders and the board on corporate governance, fundraising, and global structuring (India, UAE, US, APAC etc.).
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with OTTs, broadcasters, brands, event partners, and talent.
- Oversee subsidiary and cross-border structures to optimize for tax efficiency, subsidies, and compliance.
