MANAGER EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS (TRAINING)

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic professional with corporate IT experience and a strong background in corporate L&D or soft skills training to lead our EDGE Employability Skills initiative – preparing students for high-impact careers in CS / IT.

IDEAL PROFILE

Education : B.Tech in CS / IT and Master’s (or higher) in CS / IT or related fields
Experience :
6+ years in CS / IT / Consulting industry
2–3 years in soft skills training or corporate L&D (preferred)

TRAINING, DELIVERY & ASSESSMENT

Deliver sessions on communication, professionalism, aptitude, GD & PI

Facilitate resume reviews, mock interviews, and group discussions

INDIVIDUAL MENTORING

1 : 1 coaching on interview prep, personal goals, and mindset building

Maintain individual Employability Development Plans (IEDPs)

INDUSTRY ENGAGEMENT

Coordinate guest lectures, industry mentorships, and mock HR panels

Promote hackathons, open-source contributions, and certification pathways

PLACEMENT SUPPORT & BEYOND

Prepare students for recruiter-specific interviews

Engage with alumni and support early career transitions
