🚨 JOB OPENING – WATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR 🚨

📍 Location : Caribbean (Site-Based Role)

💧 Industry : Utilities / Water Treatment / Infrastructure

🔍 We are looking for an experienced Water Treatment Plant Operator to join our client's team on-site in the Caribbean. The ideal candidate will have prior water operations experience and a strong understanding of treatment processes, systems, and safety protocols.

🧰 REQUIREMENTS – MANDATORY

✅ Prior experience in water treatment plant operations

✅ RO (Reverse Osmosis) system experience preferred, but not required

✅ Must be able to obtain T2 / D2 certification (or equivalent)

🧭 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

💧 Operate and monitor water treatment equipment, including pumps, motors, valves, filters, and chemical dosing systems

⚙️ Control chemical feed systems for chlorine, ammonia, lime, alum, and other reagents

📊 Test and monitor water samples for acidity, turbidity, color, and other impurities using lab equipment (e.g., colorimeter, turbidimeter, conductivity meter)

🔁 Perform regular backwashing of filters and cleaning of tanks and equipment

🔧 Conduct preventative maintenance and perform minor mechanical repairs using hand and power tools

🚰 Operate systems to treat water for human consumption and industrial use

📈 Monitor flow rates, pressure, and water elevation through control panels and SCADA systems

🧾 Record operational data including chemical usage, water quality, turbidity, and system pressures

🚚 May operate portable purification equipment for mobile or emergency use

📱 Update work orders using tablets, computers, or handwritten forms (status updates, time logs, material requests)

🧰 Maintain assigned PPE, tools, and equipment and ensure scheduled maintenance is completed

🧹 Maintain a clean and safe work environment

📅 Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, early or late shifts; overtime may be required

🧭 May be assigned additional duties based on project needs
