RRD is looking for a Visual Designer who can deliver high-quality UI / UX design work and take
ownership of end-to-end design execution. This is a hands-on design role with leadership
responsibility when the lead is unavailable, youll act as the lead : review work, assign tasks,
make design decisions, and manage escalations.
You'll review design requests, estimate efforts, set and own TATs (turnaround times), run client
calls, and design / build WordPress sites using themes. This role demands someone who can
think independently, make practical decisions under pressure, and guide others, not someone
who needs constant direction.
What You'll Own / Responsibilities :
- Review the incoming design requests : assess scope, provide written responses, and
define TAT for delivery.
Estimate effort and define acceptance criteria for each request; communicate timelinestransparently to stakeholders.
Create high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes for web and mobile platforms, maintainingvisual consistency and design systems.
Design and build WordPress sites using themes : configure layouts, customizetemplates, and deliver production-ready sites.
Perform HTML / CSS edits and troubleshooting to fix layout or responsiveness issues.Lead client calls to capture requirements, ask relevant questions, and define scope.Act as interim lead when the lead is away delegate work, review designs, and mentorthe other designers.
Ensure all designs align with brand standards, accessibility basics, and developmentfeasibility.
Manage pressure situations such as tight deadlines or escalations with clearcommunication and quick, quality-driven decisions.
Must-have Skills & Experience :
5+ years of experience in Visual / UI Design with a strong portfolio showcasing responsive web and app interfaces.Proven hands-on experience designing and delivering WordPress sites using commercial themes or builders.Practical knowledge of HTML and CSS (able to edit, troubleshoot, and fine-tune).Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc).Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to run requirement discussions.Experience mentoring or guiding junior designers.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to stay composed under tight timelines.Good-to-have :
Familiarity with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders; webpage creation usingHTML / CSSExperience with design systems and accessibility (WCAG basics).Knowledge of motion and visual enhancement tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or 3D applications (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D, Figma 3D plugins) to create modern, market-relevant visuals.Job terms :
Shift timings - 1 to 10pm on weekdays
