JOB PURPOSE
To lead the IOT domain by defining consumer-centric products, building this vertical along with strengthening the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Consumer understanding : Deeply understand the consumers’ behavior related to IOT products. Expectations or needs from these products including the usage pattern
Industry awareness : Derive data-driven analysis on the competitive landscape of the smartphone industry and derive actionable insights with primary and secondary research to build differentiating product positioning and superiority.
Defining the product : Leverage the collective insights to define the product roadmap, positioning, and sales forecast including the Product Lifecycle Management
Go-to-market : Collaborate with multiple internal functional stakeholders to define the go-to-market strategy for the upcoming product launch. This includes Project planning : Outline the complete go-to-market strategy and project plan. Strengthen the IOT team to build this vertical
Market benchmarking : Deploy learning strategies to gain more information about the market, such as market segmentation, market development, market refinement, and competitive intelligence analysis.
Ensuring cross-functional collaboration : Steered cross-functional teams across sales, service, product, software development, content, marketing, legal, operations, and finance. Evaluate ideas, motivate teams to meet deadlines, and ensure alignment in the go-to-market process.
Tracking launch progress : Define and set up measurement milestones, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for launch initiatives and activities
Minimum Qualifications :
MBA / B-Tech or Equivalent
Specific experience :
Major experience in the IOT domain
Overall experience : 7- 10 years
