WORKFit Mentor - Two positions - Bundaberg and Hervey Bay

IMPACT Community Services Limited (IMPACT) is a high profile, community owned organisation supporting the most vulnerable and marginalised members of our community. Since 1978, we have been supporting local people experiencing disadvantage, poverty and exclusion. Our vision is improving lives. IMPACT is also a Child Safe Organisation committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

Our WORKFit program provides one-on-one support and 12 months' access to a range of resources and assistance in terms of resilience, online learning and resume creation to give jobseekers the skills and confidence to secure and maintain work.

About the WORKFit Mentor

These two jobs are full-time roles until 30 June 2026. One is based in Bundaberg and the other is based in Hervey Bay. The WORKFit Mentor is an all-rounder role who is part of a small, high performing team and:

• Provides tailored assistance to jobseekers based on the individual's employment goals and any barriers they may be experiencing
• Supports job seekers to develop new and transferrable knowledge and skills, particularly through online learning
• Delivers one-on-one and group training to jobseekers to help them improve employability and confidence

About you

• A track record in developing and delivering training, in both one-on-one and group settings, to jobseekers or clients in non-vocational training
• Current experience in the Community Services Sector
• Demonstrated experience in assisting clients to identify their goals, strengths and any barriers to participation in work
• Lived experience or a demonstrated understanding of the barriers to employment and the local labour market
• The ability to develop and maintain networks with employers and community organisations to generate referrals and identify employment opportunities for jobseekers
• Excellent digital literacy skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
