Mid-Level Integration Engineer

Work mode : Hybrid

Work Location : Chennai / Bangalore

Work Time : 2PM to 11PM IST

Key Responsibilities

Support, maintain, and enhance existing Java Spring Boot microservices in a distributed environment.

Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using tools like Informatica and Google Cloud Data Fusion.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, analysts, and application developers) to support data movement and system integration needs

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in both application and data pipelines.

Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Optimize performance of microservices and ETL jobs for scalability and reliability.

Create and maintain technical documentation for services, data flows, and integration processes.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through automation, monitoring, and process optimization.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3–6 years of experience in software development and data integration roles.

Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.

Proficiency with ETL tools such as Informatica, Google Cloud Data Fusion, or similar platforms.

Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

Experience with version control systems (Git), CI / CD pipelines, and basic cloud deployment principles.

Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and data modeling.

Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Gardena, New Relic, etc.).
