Software Development Engineer II (No-Code Platform, AI-Driven SaaS)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Software Developer (5-8 years experience) with expertise in backend, frontend, or full-stack development to help us scale our platform. You’ll work on the Modlix no-code engine, execution layer, and app builder, ensuring seamless performance, scalability, and user experience. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team to optimize workflow execution, UI rendering, and backend integrations while contributing to our open-source no-code framework. Contribute to the open-source Modlix no-code framework empowering thousands of developers worldwide.

What You’ll Do

• Enhance platform performance by optimizing the no-code compiler and execution engine, improving logic execution speed, memory efficiency, and scalability.
• Expand platform capabilities across web, mobile, and cloud deployments, ensuring smooth cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
• Develop and maintain the core no-code engine (nocode Kirun), improving workflow execution, dynamic UI rendering, and backend integrations.
• Master the No-Code App Builder, refining app templates, UI components, and logic processing to improve usability.
• Collaborate with open-source communities, contributing to the nocode-saas ecosystem and engaging with fellow developers.
• Design scalable and fault-tolerant systems, optimizing database queries, caching strategies, and event-driven processes.
• Expand AI-powered capabilities by integrating LLMs to automate application generation, enabling users to create apps simply by describing their requirements.
