Position Title : Software Engineering Lead, Integrations

Description :

As one of the largest retailers in the world, our success depends on hundreds of systems communicating seamlessly—moving data and events securely and reliably across our enterprise. These integration systems connect our supply chain, stores, e-commerce, finance, and vendor partners into a unified, data-driven operation.

We are seeking a Software Engineering Lead to drive the evolution of our Integration Systems, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and built with quality at their core. You will lead a small team of engineers to design, build, and support the APIs, messaging frameworks, and data pipelines that keep our business running.

What will you be doing?

As a Software Engineering Lead for Integration Systems, you will :

• Lead and mentor a team of 2–5 software engineers in designing and delivering integration solutions that connect critical enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define integration patterns, data flows, and technical designs that meet business needs.
• Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing strategies to ensure integrations are reliable, maintainable, and future-proof.
• Implement and maintain modern testing frameworks such as JUnit, Playwright, and Cucumber .
• Drive the adoption of observability tools —including application monitoring, log aggregation, and session replay—to proactively detect and resolve system issues.
• Ensure integrations are built for performance, scalability, and resilience, with strong security and compliance standards.
• Facilitate code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
• Promote a culture of software craftsmanship and unbreakable quality across integration projects.
