Role Overview :

We are seeking an accomplished Data Architect with deep expertise in Commercial Life Sciences data ecosystems to design and implement enterprise-grade, cloud-first data architectures. The ideal candidate will combine advanced data modeling skills, cloud platform mastery, and domain knowledge of life sciences commercial operations to deliver robust, compliant, and scalable data platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of data platforms tailored to life sciences commercial business needs.
• Define enterprise data models spanning sales, prescription, claims, marketing, CRM, and customer master data.
• Architect AWS cloud-native solutions leveraging services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, Lambda, and Kinesis for batch and real-time processing.
• Integrate third-party commercial datasets (e.g., IQVIA DDD, Xponent, Symphony, Komodo) with internal systems for unified analytics.
• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, IT, compliance) to align architecture with HIPAA, GxP, and other regulatory standards.
• Oversee data pipeline orchestration using tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions.
• Enable advanced analytics and BI by integrating tools like Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Drive data platform modernization initiatives, transitioning from legacy architectures to scalable, cloud-native solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to data engineers and analysts.
