Software Tester

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Tester with Proficiency in Telugu to help test and validate our Telugu voice-based symptom analysis engine. You will be responsible for thoroughly testing the app's ability to handle Telugu voice inputs, ensuring accurate transcription, symptom detection, and end-to-end performance. This is a full-time role which can be done remotely or hybrid. The Software Tester will be responsible for data entry (written and voice), test execution, analytical skills, software testing, quality assurance, and creating test cases.

Key responsibilities :

1. Test the O-Health mobile and web applications using Telugu audio inputs (both pre-recorded and live).

2. Check for errors in speech-to-text transcription, symptom extraction, and more

3. Log, reproduce, and report bugs, misclassifications, and edge case issues in a structured format (e.g., Excel or JIRA).

4. Collaborate with the NLP and engineering team to provide feedback on false positives / negatives in Telugu symptom detection or audio capture.

5. Validate audio-to-output pipelines from voice input ASR symptom report doctor dashboard.

6. Create test cases for varied dialects, speed, medical vocabulary, and rural vs urban phrasing in Telugu with various test cases like simulating audio input in a noiseless and noisy environment.

7. Assist with manual and automated testing efforts, ensuring smooth voice UI performance under real conditions.
