Senior System Engineer

This Systems Engineering Development position will be to design, develop, and support the automation of virtual infrastructure as code hosted primarily on-prem datacenter on platforms such as VMWare and OpenShift.

Experience Required :

Technical Skills Must Have :

5+ years Strong Linux knowledge on multiple platforms (RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE).

(1+ years) Experience in use of Kubernetes.

(1+ years) Experience with OpenShift Virtualization

(1+ years) Experience with automation tools such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Ansible.

(2+ years) Experience in use of container technologies.

(3+ years) In-depth use of Cloud-based PaaS and IaaS. GCP experience preferred.

(2+ years) Experience with GIT and CI / CD pipelines. Tekton experience preferred.

(3+ years) Experience in programming with languages such as python, node.Js, JavaScript, shell scripting

(2+ years) Experience in application and RESTFUL API development

(2+ years) Experience with multiple databases such as SQL, Oracle, DB2, Postgres, Mongo

(2+ years) Experience with automated testing, code quality, and security tools such as Cycode, 42Crunch, Checkmarx, Sonarqube, etc..

Working knowledge of application development architectures, web deployment methodologies and mobile technologies.

This position requires a wide breadth of skills and experience in-order to develop new application hosting platforms and strategies.

Technical Skills Nice to Have :

Experience with IT Automation products such as Terraform, Habitat, Ansible Chef, etc. Experience with Ansible Automation Platform

Experience with VMWare ESX, vCenter, VRA, VRO.

Experience with network load balancers (SLB, GSLB).

Experience with storage (Block, NFS)
