Role Description

This is a full-time, remote Data Engineer role. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing data pipelines, creating and optimizing data models, and developing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows. This role includes building and maintaining scalable data warehouses and analyzing structured and unstructured data to support business decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is a key part of the role, ensuring that data solutions meet business requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Engineering tasks, including designing and managing scalable data solutions
• Experience in Data Modeling and creating optimized database schemas
• Knowledge of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and data pipeline development
• Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing and data storage systems
• Strong Data Analytics skills for processing and deriving insights from large datasets
• Familiarity with relevant programming languages and tools such as SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a remote team environment
• Experience with education technology or a similar industry is a plus
