Key Responsibilities :

• Government Relations : Develop and manage relationships with government bodies, ministries, and regulatory authorities to ensure favorable policies and regulations for renewable energy projects.
• Policy Advocacy : Lead efforts in influencing policy decisions by participating in industry forums, working groups, and public consultations related to renewable energy regulations.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, policymakers, industry associations, and community leaders to further the company's strategic objectives.
• Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for renewable energy projects, including environmental, legal, and policy-related obligations.
• Corporate Communication : Collaborate with internal teams such as Legal, Finance, and Operations to align corporate affairs strategies with business objectives and ensure consistent messaging.
• Risk Mitigation : Identify and mitigate potential risks related to public policy, regulatory changes, and stakeholder interests that could impact the company's projects.
• Community Relations : Oversee community engagement strategies, ensuring the company maintains a positive image and mitigates any potential community-related issues for renewable energy installations.
• Crisis Management : Lead the corporate affairs team in managing public relations and government communication during crises, ensuring a coordinated and timely response.
• Industry Representation : Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other public platforms to advocate for the renewable energy industry's needs and promote the company's initiatives.
• Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the corporate affairs team, providing strategic direction and ensuring high-performance in achieving departmental goals.
