Trainee Affiliate

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ACCA Affiliate to join our finance team (Number of positions available : 6) for a 1 year term. Location : Edappally, Cochin Branch Office

The ideal candidate will assist in bookkeeping, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the Branch Manager in the preparation of VAT submissions, YE Accounts, Payroll and Tax Returns. This role is ideal for recent ACCA Affiliates with BCom who wish to gain practical experience and work towards their membership.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS (Technical Objective : 6)
• Ensure tax compliance by preparing and reviewing VAT or other tax returns as required. (Technical Objective : 15 and 16)
• Prepare Year End Accounts (Technical Objective : 7, 8)
• Adhere to professional behaviour, maintain confidentiality, stay competent and updated, be accountable and reliable, truthful and transparent, demonstrate integrity, practice and promote ethical practices in the workplace. (Essential Objective : 1)
• Provide support for business decisions and financial planning.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives within the organization.
