Job Summary

We are looking for a Software developer with AI specialisation, that can automate our services with AI. You will be responsible within our Product & tech team to build AI-powered tooling and features that enhance the reliability, automation, and scalability of our service and data flows.

We are in the last stage of our new automation strategy, in which AI plays a crucial role. The areas where we look for fast improvement are Client onboarding, Data collection, Photo & invoice recognition, Solution detection, Data requests, Data configuration and data health.

This is a hands-on technical role with high product impact, shaping both the architecture and execution of AI initiatives across the company.

This role requires strong ownership, critical thinking, and a proactive mindset, we’re looking for problem solvers who take initiative, stay organized, and drive things forward.

Hello Energy

Hello Energy is a B2B SaaS company focused on helping Pan European real estate companies and their tenants collect utility data. We do ‘whatever it takes’ to get data certification, compliance, congestion solutions, billing and energy savings. We work across Europe to connect utility data, hardware, and insights into a single platform.

Out tech stack is based on AWS, using Python, Django, MySQL, React. We use Salesforce for CRM, Order, Subscription, and Database management. And the complete Microsoft suite. The first AI models have been built.

What you bring?

Technical Skills

Experience with machine learning, including ML pipelines, RAG pipelines, LLMs and AI frameworks.

Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).

Knowledge of time-series analysis is a strong bonus.

Experience with Python and Django framework is a bonus

Product & Collaboration Skills

Ability to translate real business problems (onboarding clients, buildings and meters, data gaps, ingestion issues, connector health) into AI solutions.

Strong ownership mindset : able to design, build, test, deploy, and iterate rapidly.

Prioritisation & Organisation : Maintain a clear overview of all ongoing projects, prioritise tasks effectively, and ensure progress against agreed timelines.

Continuous Improvement : Identify recurring issues, propose process improvements, and help streamline workflows and collaboration practices.

Eager to learn and adaptable, open to new tools, technologies, and ways of working.

• Bonus : Comfortable interacting with non-technical stakeholders (Data Ops, Product, Customer Success).

Contract & Working Conditions

This is a remote position.

Working hours : 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM Amsterdam time

As Hello Energy is not yet registered in India, the engagement will be on an external consultant agreement, not an employment contract.

The consultant will be required to provide a valid GST registration number (support for the setup process can be provided). Working under this arrangement may offer certain tax advantages.
