Job Description
Reporting to our VP, we are looking for a Cloud Director to work in our Bangalore office. You will be positioned within the growing Cloud team, working with Google Cloud Platform to build, deploy, and optimize machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions that improve digital marketing performance. The ideal candidate for this position should have an analytical foundation in Marketing, with experience working with : Cross channel attribution, Marketing mix / media mix modeling and Top-down / bottom-up attribution modeling.
Your primary responsibilities will include :
- Integrate and analyse marketing data sources such as Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, and CRM data to find applicable insights.
- Dedicate time to explaining and advocating the use of data science methodologies, particularly Media Mix Models, and ensure they drive improved campaign performance for existing clients by delivering measurable results and actionable insights.
- Work closely with platform partners to grow the suite of mathematical techniques for Media Mix Models, leveraging both open-source and in-house code to create a best-in-class offering for clients.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models tailored to improve campaign effectiveness, audience segmentation, and marketing return on investment.
- Build and optimize advanced analytics frameworks on GCP using tools like Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and TensorFlow.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for predictive analytics and prescriptive modelling in digital marketing.
- Establish automated workflows for training, testing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models.
- Develop scalable feature engineering pipelines that support multiple marketing use cases.
- Implement cloud-based data architectures that ensure efficient storage, processing, and querying of large-scale datasets for analytics.
- Advocate for and enforce best practices in MLOps, ensuring reproducibility, reliability, and scalability in machine learning workflows.
- Mentor team members in advanced data science and machine learning techniques, encouraging a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Research and experiment with the latest technologies and methods to improve marketing science capabilities.
Qualifications
Have one or more Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technical certifications.Experience in analyzing media and web data, such as Google Ads, Campaign Manager, Facebook, and Google Analytics.Experience with media measurement solutions, such as media mix modeling, incrementality, and attribution models.Extensive hands-on experience with GCP services, Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, and AutoMLProficient in SQL, Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.Experience with modern data transformation and orchestration tools like dbt and Dataform to refine and improve data pipelines.Familiarity with datasets and APIs from platforms like Meta, Google Ads, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.Align data science programmes with broader our goals to enhance marketing effectiveness, optimize ad spend, and drive return on investment.Working knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau, and PowerBI.Leadership and mentoring skills, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within cross-functional teams.Knowledge of server-side tagging (e.g., sGTM) is a plus but not mandatory.Note : We emphasise skills, expertise and behavioural attributes over years of experience and traditional degrees.
