Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will spearhead business growth across Bangalore and Karnataka in the domestic market, with full ownership of the sales lifecyclefrom lead generation and opportunity development to deal closure and post-sales engagement.
This leadership role demands a proven track record in enterprise IT product / solution sales, strong channel collaboration skills, and the ability to consistently achieve revenue targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Key Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Operate with high autonomy, driving results through independent decision-making and accountability.
- Manage the complete sales cycleprospecting, qualification, product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, closure, and account expansion.
Business Growth & Customer Engagement
Build and sustain strong relationships with enterprise customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.Identify emerging market trends, competitive moves, and new business opportunities in the region.Act as a trusted advisor to customers, aligning solutions to their business needs.Channel & Partner Management

Consistently meet or exceed assigned annual and quarterly sales targets.Provide accurate forecasts and actionable insights to leadership for informed business planning.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with marketing, presales, and product management to create winning proposals and customer presentations.Contribute market intelligence to guide product roadmaps and GTM strategies.Skills & Qualifications
Experience : 10-15 years in IT B2B product / solution sales, with expertise in ITSM, Network Monitoring / Security, Infrastructure Solutions, or Cybersecurity.Proven Record : Demonstrated success in closing complex enterprise deals and managing long sales cycles.Channel Management : Hands-on experience in working with channel partners and system integrators.Education : Bachelors degree in Business / Technology; MBA Strategic thinking and market development skills.Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.Mobility : Willingness to travel across Bangalore and Karnataka as per business needs.(ref : iimjobs.com)
