Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the position of Senior Project Associate and Project Associate to work on a project titled “Sociology of Snakebite Mitigation ” that that contributes to the larger understanding of the human-snake conflict, specifically in the context of snakebite and its mitigation. The main objective is to understand the socio-cultural processes that shape the naturalised systemic barriers around snakebite response and mitigation, and to build interventions to rework these.
The Project Associate
1. Job Description : The Project Associate is expected to conduct the (guided) ethnography in the rural study-site around Hunsur in Mysore district. You will be located there for nearly the entire period of study.
2. Duration : 10 months
3. Language : fluent Kannada is mandatory
