organisation with a current annual turnover of
USD 50 million . We are on an ambitious growth trajectory, aiming to scale to
USD 250 million within the next 3 years
through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
As part of this strategy, Teceze plans to
acquire IT services and technology companies
with annual turnover in the range of
USD 1–5 million over the next 12 months .
To support this journey, we are seeking a highly strategic, hands-on
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
to join our leadership team in Chennai.
Role Summary
The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for :
Driving
financial strategy
to support rapid scaling from USD 50M to USD 250M.
Leading
M&A activities , including pipeline evaluation, financial due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration.
Ensuring robust
financial governance, controls, and compliance
across multiple entities and geographies.
Partnering closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape business strategy, operational excellence, and long-term value creation.
This role is ideal for a seasoned finance leader with
strong IT services experience , proven
M&A track record , and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Financial Leadership
Develop and execute Teceze’s
medium- and long-term financial strategy
aligned with the growth goal of USD 250M in 3 years.
Translate business plans into
financial roadmaps, budgets, and forecasts , providing strategic insight to the CEO and Board.
Provide
data-driven insights
on profitability, pricing, utilisation, cost optimisation, and investments.
Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis for aggressive growth, including
organic expansion, new markets, and acquisitions .
2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Reporting
Own the
annual budget , quarterly forecasts, and rolling financial plans.
Implement robust
management reporting
(P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, variance analysis, KPIs) for leadership and investors.
Improve and standardise
BI dashboards & metrics
across business units (e.g. revenue per FTE, project margins, client profitability).
Ensure
timely and accurate financial statements
in line with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP – as relevant).
3. M&A, Investments & Corporate Development
Lead Teceze’s
acquisition agenda
for targets in the
USD 1–5M turnover range , especially within IT services / tech.
Build and maintain a
deal pipeline
in collaboration with the CEO and business leaders.
Drive end-to-end
M&A processes , including :
Target screening and initial financial assessment
Business case and valuation modelling
Financial and commercial due diligence
Deal structuring (cash / stock / earn-outs etc.)
Coordination with legal, tax, and external advisors
Lead
post-merger financial integration , including systems, reporting, controls, and alignment of policies.
Evaluate
strategic investments, JV opportunities, and divestitures
as required.
4. Treasury, Cash Flow & Capital Structure
Own
cash flow planning and working capital management
to support growth and acquisition activity.
Manage
banking relationships , credit facilities, and other financing arrangements.
Optimise
capital structure, cost of capital, and liquidity
to support expansion.
Ensure effective
FX risk management
(if operating in multiple currencies).
5. Financial Operations, Controls & Compliance
Oversee all
core finance functions :
Accounting
Payables & receivables
Payroll
Taxation
Audit & statutory compliance
Design and enforce strong
internal controls, policies, and SOPs
across all entities.
Ensure compliance with relevant
regulatory, legal and tax requirements
(India and any overseas jurisdictions where Teceze operates).
Coordinate with
internal and external auditors
to ensure clean audits and timely statutory filings.
6. Business Partnering & Commercial Support
Act as a trusted
business partner to the CEO, COO, and business heads .
Support
commercial decision-making , including pricing, contract structuring, large deals, and new service lines.
Provide financial input on
sales strategies, key account profitability, and delivery efficiency .
Partner with HR and Operations on
headcount planning, compensation structures, and productivity metrics .
7. Systems, Processes & Automation
Lead the selection, implementation, and enhancement of
ERP / finance systems
and related tools.
Drive
digitisation & automation
across finance processes to support scale (e.g. e-invoicing, analytics, reporting automation).
Ensure strong
data integrity and single source of truth
for all financial information.
8. Leadership & Culture
Build and develop a
high-performing finance team
capable of supporting rapid growth and multiple entities.
Foster a culture of
ownership, transparency, performance, and continuous improvement
within the finance function.
Represent finance in
Board meetings and investor discussions , as required.
Candidate Profile
Experience
15+ years
of progressive experience in finance, with at least
5–7 years in a senior leadership role
(CFO / Head of Finance / VP Finance).
Strong experience in
IT services, technology services, consulting, or related B2B services
is highly preferred.
Proven track record of
supporting high-growth organisations , ideally scaling from ~USD 20–50M to ~USD 200M+ turnover.
Demonstrated experience in
M&A / corporate development , including :
Evaluating and acquiring smaller companies (USD 1–10M range).
Leading
financial due diligence , valuation, and deal structuring.
Managing
post-acquisition financial integration .
Experience working with
multi-entity, multi-geo structures
is an advantage.
