We are seeking a skilled and creative AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD design, with proficiency in all mentioned software. As a Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings, models, and prototypes to support various projects and initiatives within our organization. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of innovative designs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal
software to create 2D and 3D models, drawings, and prototypes according to
project specifications.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understanddesign requirements and translate concepts into technical drawings and models.
Ensure accuracy and precision in all design work, adhering to industry standardsand best practices.
Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of design prototypes to identifypotential issues or areas for improvement.
Generate detailed documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), assemblyinstructions, and technical specifications.
Participate in design reviews and team meetings to provide input and feedbackon design concepts and project timelines.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in CAD technology and designmethodologies to enhance skills and knowledge.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues during thedevelopment and production phases.
Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure seamlesstransition from design to production.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and productive work environment.Qualifications :
Bachelor's in architecture or related fieldsProven experience working as a CAD Designer, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal software, with strong skills in 2D drafting and 3D modeling.Excellent understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to workeffectively in cross-functional teams.
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing designchallenges.
Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is a plus.Certification in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, Rhino, and Parametric Sheet Metal is preferred.
