About the Company

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead a team handling end-to-end accounting services for our UK-based clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts finalization, AP / AR, client communication, and team leadership, with hands-on knowledge of UK accounting standards and compliance requirements.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead a team handling end-to-end accounting services for our UK-based clients.

Responsibilities

Oversee the finalization of accounts, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L review, and month-end / year-end closing.

Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions – invoice processing, payment runs, and receivables follow-ups.

Serve as the primary point of contact for UK clients, ensuring timely resolution of queries and maintaining excellent client relationships.

Lead and mentor a team of accountants; conduct performance reviews, training, and workload planning.

Ensure all financial processes comply with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations.

Prepare and review financial reports, management accounts, and VAT returns.

Work closely with internal and client-side stakeholders to implement process improvements and automation where possible.

Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and service-level agreements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CA / CA Inter / CMA preferred).

5 to 10 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a managerial role.

Hands-on experience with UK accounting standards and VAT compliance.

Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage UK client relationships effectively.

Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to handle multiple clients / projects simultaneously.

Required Skills

UK client handling experience in an outsourcing or BPO environment.

Certification in Xero or UK VAT compliance.

Experience in implementing financial automation tools or workflow enhancements.
