We are seeking a detail-oriented and research-savvy Digital Product Manager to support our enterprise Search Program within the pharmaceutical sector. This role is critical for improving how scientists, researchers, clinicians, and business teams discover relevant, accurate, and well-structured information. You will curate, classify, and optimize content to ensure it is accessible, contextual, and aligned with regulatory standards. You'll also work to identify and fill content gaps based on user needs, making data-driven decisions to optimize engagement and overall content strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Curation & Optimization : Curate, classify, and optimize scientific, clinical, and regulatory content for internal search platforms. You will ensure high-value content is properly tagged and categorized using standard metadata, ontologies, and classification schemes ( e.g., MeSH, SNOMED, MedDRA ).
- Search & Data Analytics : Analyze content performance and user search behavior to make data-driven decisions and identify content gaps. You will provide feedback and input on synonym lists, controlled vocabularies, and NLP enrichment tools to improve search functionality and discoverability.
- Technical Management : Work with taxonomy and knowledge management teams to evolve tagging strategies. You will also check and update digital assets regularly, modifying their accessibility and security settings as needed.
- Compliance & Documentation : Investigate, secure, and properly document permission clearance for publishing various forms of media. You will also develop and manage a system for storing and organizing digital material, ensuring quality assurance checks on all content before publication.
- Innovation & Emerging Technologies : Stay up-to-date on new trends and tools, including those related to generative AI and NLP techniques. You will have a deep understanding of cloud platforms ( GCP, AWS, Azure ) and be willing to work on AI applications.
Qualifications
A degree in Data Management, Mass Communication, or Computer Science & Engineering with 9-12 years of software development experience.5+ years of experience in digital content curation or a related position.Familiarity with metadata standards, taxonomy tools, and content management systems ( CMS ).Experience in SEO , Google Analytics , and enterprise search platforms ( e.g., GXP Search Engine, Solr Search, Lucene, Elasticsearch ).Experience with cloud platforms ( GCP, AWS, Azure ) and database technologies ( Posgres SQL, Mongo DB SQL ).Experience with Agile software development methodologies.Willingness to work on AI applications and experience with large language models and frameworks like Langchain or llamaIndex is a plus.Soft Skills
