Job descriptionOwn the entire tech stack (frontend, backend, infrastructure) Design real-time systems for video, audio, and multiplayer interactions Build scalable features for thousands of concurrent users Collaborate closely with a small, scrappy team Backend Systems : Scale Node.js microservices for 50M+ monthly interactions Real-Time Performance : Optimize WebRTC & WebSockets for Enterprise Integrations : Build SAML SSO that passes Fortune 500 audits Data Architecture : Design PostgreSQL schemas for 10TB+ interaction data Frontend Performance : Render 200+ video streams in Vue.js without dropped frames Reduce WebSocket overhead by 40% Implement Canvas LTI 1.3 with 99.9% uptime Increase spatial audio capacity by 4x Build admin tools that cut support tickets by 60% A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage environment. Someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty and is comfortable taking full ownership of critical features and systems. A problem solver who enjoys tackling hard technical challenges with creativity and an innovative mindset. A team player who collaborates effectively with non-technical teams and brings strong communication skills to ensure smooth product development. 5+ years building production applications with TypeScript Deep experience with real-time systems (WebRTC, WebSockets) PostgreSQL optimization & API design (REST / gRPC) Startup mentality : scrappy, self-driven, thrives with ownership Bonus : LMS integrations, enterprise authentication (SAML / LDAP), microservices Meetings about meetings Fake “rockstar ninja” culture Pretending tech debt doesn’t exist Breaking production in the name of speed
