Job descriptionEnsure the fitness center adheres to health, safety, and building regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, addressing any potential hazards promptly. Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance efficiency and service quality. Monitor utilities and resources to optimize cost-effectiveness. Manage inventory of supplies, including gym equipment, cleaning materials, and other essentials. Supervise and guide facility staff, including cleaners, maintenance personnel, and contractors. Provide training to staff on safety protocols and operational procedures. Collaborate with the front desk and management team to address member feedback or concerns related to the facility. Ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all members and visitors. Plan and manage the facility's maintenance budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Provide regular reports to management on operational costs and performance. Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the fitness or hospitality industry. Strong understanding of maintenance, safety, and operational processes. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office Suite.
