Job Description

• Oocyte Retrieval (Egg Harvesting) : A procedure where eggs are collected from a woman’s ovaries to be used in IVF.
• Embryo Transfer : The placement of one or more embryos into the uterus after fertilization in the laboratory.
• Sperm Retrieval : A procedure to collect sperm from a male, often used when sperm is absent in the ejaculate (such as in cases of azoospermia).
• Egg Freezing (Oocyte Cryopreservation) : Freezing a woman's eggs for future use, typically in cases where she wishes to delay childbearing.
• Embryo Cryopreservation : Freezing embryos after IVF for later implantation in a future cycle.
• Ovarian Drilling : A laparoscopic procedure to treat polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) by removing parts of the ovary that are producing excess androgens.
• Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) : A process to test embryos for genetic conditions before transferring them into the uterus during IVF.
• Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) : A less invasive procedure where sperm is placed directly into the uterus to increase the chance of fertilization.
