About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Electronics & Control Systems Engineer to lead the design and development of ground control infrastructure, automation systems, and electronics integration across our product portfolio. You'll architect mission-critical control systems, design electronics subsystems, and develop operator interfaces for 24 / 7 autonomous operations.
This role spans multiple platforms including tethered aerostats, UAV systems, and ground-based command & control stations.
Core Responsibilities
Electronics Design & Integration
- Power systems design : DC-DC converters, battery management, power distribution (12V-270V)
- Circuit design : Analog / digital circuits, sensor interfaces, motor controllers
- PCB design and prototyping for custom avionics and control boards
- Thermal management and environmental hardening for field deployment
- Cable harness design and connector selection
Ground Control & Automation Systems
SCADA / HMI architecture : Multi-display operator interfaces, alarm management, data loggingReal-time control algorithms : PID tuning, automated sequences, state machine logicPLC / DCS programming : Ladder logic, structured text, safety interlocksOperational modes : Launch / recovery automation, emergency procedures, remote operationsSensors & Instrumentation
Required Sensor selection and integrationData acquisition systems : Sampling rates, filtering, calibration protocolsTelemetry systems : Real-time monitoring, data recording (30+ days retention)Video systems : IP cameras, PTZ tracking, ground-based surveillanceCommunications & Networking

Experience : 5-8 years in electronics design, control systems, or automation engineering
