Role- Analytics Consultant
Location- Bangalore / Gurgaon(Hybrid)
We are looking for a Consultant Data Analytics who can blend data analysis, statistical modeling, and visualization to solve real-world business problems.
The role requires strong skills in Python, SQL, and visualization tools with the ability to explore datasets, test hypotheses, and generate actionable insights that guide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and define analytical approaches.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, outliers, and relationships in data.
- Apply statistical techniques (hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, clustering) to validate insights.
- Build, test, and validate predictive and prescriptive models using Python and ML frameworks.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate complex findings clearly to business and technical teams.
- Translate analytical outcomes into compelling stories and actionable recommendations.
- Continuously explore new methods, algorithms, and tools to enhance analytics capabilities.
Must-Have Skills :
Strong proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels, matplotlib / seaborn).Solid grounding in data analysis and statistical methods (descriptive analytics, hypothesis testing, regression, clustering).Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.Hands-on experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).Strong ability to translate data into insights and communicate them effectively.Problem-solving orientation with attention to detail.Minimum of 2 years experience dealing with analytics projects and in depth data analysisGood-to-Have Skills :
Exposure to time-series forecasting, NLP, or optimization techniques.Familiarity with cloud analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Understanding of big data tools (Spark, Hadoop).Education :
Bachelors or Masters in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields(ref : hirist.tech)
