Assistant Vice President, Credit Portfolio Management, Risk Management Group-(WD75720)

Business Function

Risk Management Group works closely with our business partners to manage the bank’s risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We partner with origination teams to provide financing, investments and hedging opportunities to our customers. To manage risk effectively and run a successful business, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure

Job Purpose

To provide requisite MIS to internal stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

To ensure reporting to internal stakeholders and region is done on a timely basis

Job Duties & responsibilities

Perform regular and ad-hoc risk reporting to consumer credit management / line of business stakeholders and MIS preparation for regulatory reporting.

Run and produce MIS for reporting on risk exposures and metrics to enable informed and strategic decision-making.

Identify opportunities / gaps to improve data quality and existing reporting processes

Apply analytics and data mining techniques using credit data and alternative data sources to monitor portfolio performances based on established portfolio triggers

Present MIS & data in required formats which are visual, universally understandable or easy to interpret (e.g. dashboards).

Managing & Creating MIS for Risk management vertical

Managing decks presented to senior management including CEO decks

Good communications skills with basic tech knowledge

Managing various trackers which includes but not limited to, say head count tracker, organization structure.

Manage audit queries, co-ordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

Mandatory 8 to 10 years retail lending experience.

Relevant working experience in MIS reporting

Min Bachelors degree

Team-player with good inter-personal, communication & writing skills.

Should be well versed with Excel, power point .

Seek to understand stakeholder’s point of view and find win-win solution.

Motivated and self-driven.
