DocuVille.ai is building the future of intelligent document and contract management. Our mission is to help businesses unlock insights from legal and procurement contracts using AI / ML and scalable software systems.

As one of our early senior engineers, you’ll have a direct impact on technical architecture, product direction, and team culture. This is a rare opportunity to shape a product and company from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

Lead design and architecture of scalable SaaS solutions for contract intelligence using various Gen AI LLMs.
Own end-to-end development of features : from requirements and design to deployment and monitoring.
Mentor junior engineers and set best practices in coding, testing, and CI / CD.
Work closely with founders and product team on technical strategy and roadmap.
Contribute hands-on in building APIs, services, integrations, and data workflows.
Drive decisions around cloud architecture (AWS), security, and performance optimization.

✅ What We’re Looking For

5+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend (Node.js, Python, Java, or Go) and / or full-stack skills.

Deep experience with databases (Postgres, MongoDB, etc.), API design, and distributed systems.

Strong knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.

Prior exposure to Gen AI, AI / ML, document processing, or SaaS products is a big plus.

Proven ability to work in fast-paced, startup-like environments.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design skills.

Our Hiring Process

4. For senior candidates, we’re flexible : instead of coding, this can be an architecture or system design exercise.

5. Technical deep dive – review your code / design, plus system design discussion.

6. Culture / fit conversation with founders – aligning on growth, ownership, and vision.
