Lead SDET I / II

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead design, development, and execution of automated testing frameworks using Cypress.io and BDD with Cucumber.
• Define and own test strategy for critical projects, aligning with business goals and development processes.
• Mentor and support testers across teams to promote knowledge sharing, technical growth, and best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and analysts to establish clear acceptance criteria and drive quality from project inception.
• Provide expert input during sprint planning, backlog grooming, and estimation to ensure sufficient test coverage.
• Perform and guide API testing using Postman or Insomnia.
• Maintain detailed test documentation in QMetry to ensure visibility and traceability.
• Track and manage issues using JIRA, assist in reproducing bugs, and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Support CI / CD pipelines by contributing to test automation efforts.
• Promote compliance with quality standards and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Advise on performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or K6.
• Accurately track time and contribute to reporting and release planning.
• Champion quality engineering across the business to improve coverage, efficiency, and capability.
