Director of Engineering

Key Responsibilities :

• Define and execute the long-term backend / platform architecture strategy aligned with business roadmap (e-commerce, order management, delivery logistics, warehouse / inventory systems, etc.).
• Architect large-scale, distributed, microservices-based backend systems (services for orders, inventory, delivery, user management, analytics, etc.) using Python and Django (or other Python frameworks where needed) — ensuring modularity, scalability and maintainability.
• Build, scale and lead backend / platform engineering teams across different domains (e-commerce, delivery & logistics, data, integrations, platform services).
• Mentor senior & mid-level and junior engineers;

foster a culture of ownership, accountability, code quality, continuous learning and best practices.
