AlphaStone Equities is a research-driven investment and training group headquartered in London.

we produce high-quality equity research on global companies. We’re expanding our US Tech Research Desk and seeking a talented Equity Research Analyst who can combine sharp financial analysis with creative business-development support.

Key Responsibilities Equity Research (Core)

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for US-listed technology companies (Apple, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet, etc.).
  • Perform industry and competitive analysis using filings, transcripts, and market data.
  • Draft professional equity research reports including DCF, comps, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Equitec AI) to automate research workflows.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts in London to ensure report quality and consistency.

Business Development Support

  • Provide research insights and visuals for marketing and email campaigns.
  • Assist in preparing pitch materials, client decks, and university outreach content.
  • Support relationship building with finance societies and institutional partners.
  • Contribute to thought-leadership articles on AI in equity research and market trends.

    • Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in equity research or financial modelling.
  • Strong command of valuation techniques (DCF, comps, multiples).
  • Excellent Excel and financial-model-building ability.
  • Clear written communication and attention to analytical detail.
  • Familiarity with AI and data-analysis tools.
  • Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-moving, global team.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA Level I or higher.
  • Prior coverage of US Tech or global TMT sectors.
  • Exposure to sales, content, or marketing in financial services.
